Tumbling Skills
Tumbling is all about building. To be able to tumble safely with proper technique you will need to practice the basic tumbling skills daily then work on the more advanced skills with a coach to help spot you. Below you will find YouTube videos of the basic drills and skills that you can begin to work on.

Rolls
Both the forward and backward rolls are essential tumbling skills that will be needed to complete even our basic warm up at practice. These will help you get comfortable pushing off your toes and bringing you over your head. |

Handstands
I cannot stress enough how important having a strong handstand is! The handstand is used in almost every tumbling skill! Perfecting your handstand will make your tumbling progression so much easier. This skill may also be judged during tryouts ;) |

Cartwheel and Round off

Bridge Variations
It is very important to be able to do a basic bridge, we do these at every practice. These other bridge skills will make more elite skills come much faster. |

More elite skills like back handsprings and back tucks should be practiced in a gym environment with a trained coach but mastering the above skills at home will make learning those much easier.
Once the skills above are mastered play around with some of these other fun skills that I would love to see at tryouts!
